Educational programs are an integral part of Mayyim Hayyim. We provide a variety of programs to meet the demand and desire of the Greater Boston Jewish community including guided tours and education programs for people of all ages: 4th -12th grade students and adults, boys and girls, men and women, Jews and non-Jews alike.

For the entire community, a Rosh Hodesh group meets monthly, programs welcoming new Jews occur around Shavuot, and we sponsor programs about niddah (monthly immersion) for those interested learning about this mitzvah.

Education programs are most often tailored specifically to your group's interests and background. Student, women-only, men-only and mixed groups can all enjoy education programs coordinated and facilitated here.

For students in elementary, middle and high school, Mayyim Hayyim now offers a curriculum, currently being piloted, which includes several modules to be facilitated before, during and following a visit to Mayyim Hayyim. Students will be exposed to the concept of mikveh within the context of broad Jewish ritual observance as well as details about the historical, traditional and contemporary understanding of this ritual. The curriculum includes interactive elements and is highly engaging.

Coffee, tea and kosher snacks are available.
